Nurse bachelor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Unicamp (1985), master in Biochemistry at Unicamp (1988) and Ph.D in Biochemistry at Universidade de São Paulo (1993); Full professor in Biochemistry, Unicamp (2010). Has experience in Byophysics, Biochemistry and pharmacy, focusing on Drug delivery and Biomimetic systems, focusing the interaction of active molecules (local anesthetics, anticancer drugs) with carriers such as liposomes, nanostructured lipid carriers, cyclodextrins).

Research activities

Biochemical pharmacology and pharmaceutical technology: 1) Development and characterization of drug-delivery systems in carriers such as cyclodextrins, liposomes, Nanostructured lipid carriers; 2) Biochemistry and Biophysics applied to the study of amphiphile interaction with biomimetic systems.
