Professor at University of Campinas. Graduated at Ciências Biológicas at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, master's at Cellular Biology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, doctorate at Cellular and Structural Biology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and post-doctorate in Zoology at Unesp-Rio Claro and in Evolution at University of Tennessee. Research area: cytogenomics and evolution of frogs.

Research activities

We are interested in associating cytogenetic and genomic analyses with phylogenetic and phylogeographic inferences to study karyotype evolution in frogs.
