graduate at Licenciatura em Educação Física from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003) and ph.d. at Biodinâmica da Motricidade Humana from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2009). Has experience in Fitness, focusing on Fitness, acting on the following subjects: reatividade vascular, exercício físico, treinamento físico, isquemia/reperfusão pulmonar and isquemia/reperfusão.

Research activities

The main purpose of our laboratory activities is to investigate the mechanisms involved in endothelial dysfunction in cardiovascular disease and how these are influenced by chronic aerobic exercise training. In this context, we are particularly interested in vascular nitric oxide bioavailability, oxidative stress, inflammation and the perivascular adipose tissue.
